The Skin Illustrator Tattoo Classics Palette is crafted to replicate tattoos from any era or style, ranging from aged traditional ink to modern designs. It includes two key tones:
Nara Black: A classic aged black.
Vintage Edo: A traditional green inspired by historical Japanese tattoo pigments.
This palette enables artists to create effects from faded, hand-poked tattoos to tribal bands and vintage body-art reproductions. The muted tones allow for realistic, time-worn effects or fresh modern applications, depending on the technique used. Whether a tattoo needs to appear newly inked, subtly aged, or decades old, Tattoo Classics meets the demands of film, theater, cosplay, and character design.
For additional tattoo colors or Japanese-inspired styling, it pairs well with the Horishi Palette.
All Skin Illustrator palettes must be activated with Skin Illustrator Activator or 99% alcohol. Avoid using 70% alcohol, acetone, MEK, water, or any other solvents.
Removal is straightforward with Telesis Beta Solv, Telesis Super Solv, or Telesis Makeup Remover.
