The FormX Palettes were curated with top industry artists to jump-start the most common SFX tasks. They are known for their high pigmentation and color stability… under harsh production conditions (such as bright studio lighting and heat). The series consists of three variants:
FormX Basics Palette: Contains the essential foundation colors needed to build realistic skin tones, undertones, and general color corrections.
FormX Detailer Palette: Focused on fine detail work, such as painting veins, freckles, skin texture, and the subtle color shifts required to make prosthetic edges invisible.
FormX Trauma Palette: Curated for replicating realistic injuries, such as fresh and healing bruises, deep cuts, abrasions, and various degrees of burns.
Rob's Prop Shop Palettes
These palettes were designed by well-known Dutch FX artists Rob Hillebrink and Erik Hillebrink of Rob's Prop Shop. Their collection focuses entirely on the organic depth and subtlety of human tissue, allowing you to paint extremely photorealistic effects. The line is split into two specialized palettes:
Red Nuances Palette: A carefully selected range of various red tones. It is ideal for building up irritations, inflammation, fresh blood, muscle tissue, and the natural blood circulation (capillary effect) of living skin.
