Description

This modeling medium is designed for artists who need a smooth, buttery consistency without the drag of traditional oil clays. It is non-meltable and intended for manual hand-sculpting and tooling. The clay is suitable for educational environments, student workshops, and professional fine art studios creating masters for silicone molds.

Instructions

Processing

Use the Soft (14A) version at room temperature (23°C).
For Medium (26A) or Hard (32A), warm the clay to 46°C to increase pliability; it will return to its original firmness upon cooling.

Smoothing

Use clay rakes for initial uniforming.
For fine smoothing, 99% Isopropyl Alcohol or Naphtha are recommended.
Avoid D-limonene if planning to mold with silicone.

Safety

Use in ventilated areas when applying solvents and avoid overheating to prevent burns.
Protect from UV and store in airtight wrap to prevent surface oxidation.
Clean tools with alcohol or Naphtha to prevent fabric staining.
