Description

This platinum-cure silicone rubber is known for its durability, flexibility, and stability. With a Shore 40A hardness, it creates firm yet resilient molds suitable for extensive production runs. Its low viscosity facilitates easy mixing and pouring, capturing fine details with minimal bubbles.

The silicone cures with virtually no shrinkage, ensuring accurate and repeatable results for applications such as resin casting, architectural elements, prototyping, special effects components, and high-precision industrial molds. It boasts outstanding tear strength and excellent resistance to heat, chemicals, and mechanical stress, making it ideal for demanding workflows.

Instructions

• Measure equal parts of Part A and Part B by weight or volume, then mix thoroughly, scraping the sides and bottom until fully uniform. 
• Its low viscosity allows easy pouring, but vacuum degassing is recommended for best detail. 
• Pour slowly into the mold box from one point to reduce air bubbles. 
• Allow curing at room temperature without disturbance. 
• Demold after full cure and allow the mold to rest before use. 
• Ensure all surfaces are clean and free of sulfur or contaminants.
• Shore Hardness: 40A
• Pot Life: ~30 minutes
• Cure Time: ~24 hours
