Apoxie® Sculpt

Description

This two-part sculpting compound combines the flexibility of clay with the durability of epoxy. It has a smooth, putty-like texture that is easy to mix, shape, and apply. The compound adheres well to materials like plastic, resin, wood, metal, ceramic, glass, polymers, foam, and fiberglass.

Usage Instructions

1. Mix the two parts in equal proportions by volume until a uniform color is achieved.
2. Has a working time of approximately 2–3 hours for sculpting, shaping, blending, and detailing.
3. Apply directly to clean, dry surfaces. Bonds well to plastic, resin, wood, metal, ceramic, glass, foam, fiberglass, and many polymers.
4. Shape using hands or sculpting tools. Water can be used to smooth surfaces and blend seams during the working time.
5. Allow the material to cure undisturbed; it will harden rock solid in approximately 24 hours.
6. After curing, it can be sanded, drilled, carved, machined, or painted without cracking or shrinking.
7. Finished pieces are waterproof and suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

• Non-toxic when used as directed, but standard safety practices should be followed.
• Wear gloves if you have sensitive skin or will be working for extended periods.
• Avoid prolonged skin contact and contact with eyes. In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water.
• If material gets into eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
• Do not ingest. Use in a well-ventilated area.
• Keep components tightly closed when not in use and store at room temperature.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Clean tools and hands with water or Aves® Safety Solvent before the material cures.
