Glazes Sample Kit

Description

These glazes are water-based coloring treatments designed for cured concrete. They use nano-sized pigment particles that penetrate deeply into the concrete surface, with the carrier reacting to lock them in. They can be applied in various ways to achieve subtle tints or dramatic color variations.

• Available in a wide range of colors, they can be blended to create numerous shades.
• UV stable and free from acids, metal salts, and acetone.
• Packaged in 110 g spray bottles, 0.91 kg, and 3.74 kg containers.

Important considerations:

• More durable on matte or etched concrete than polished surfaces.
• Wet glaze is active; rubbing can remove material, creating unique effects.
• Once dry, removal becomes difficult, requiring a wet towel shortly after drying or diamond abrasives the next day.
• Apply in thin layers for a more durable finish.
• The first coat can be streaky; dilute with 50% distilled water or a mix of 25% CH Prep, 25% FS Sealz, and 50% water for a more forgiving application.
• Compatible with many sealers; test with non-BR sealers before full application.
• Colors can be combined to achieve custom shades.
• A dilute Black Glaze enhances colors and provides a durable 'wet look'.
• Use a sealer to protect the glaze from abrasion.

Instructions

• Although these glazes are water-based, UV stable, and free of acids, metal salts, and acetone, avoid prolonged skin and eye contact. 
• Wear protective gloves and eye protection during application. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with clean water. 
• Do not ingest. 
• Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. 
• Store above freezing temperatures and protect from freezing. 
• Keep out of reach of children. 
• Test compatibility when using with non–Buddy Rhodes sealers before full application. 
• Use in a well-ventilated area.
