Description

Ease Release™ 205 is a highly efficient, versatile liquid release agent formulated specifically for complex mold-making and casting processes. It is engineered to cleanly separate liquid rubbers and resins from models, molds, and challenging substrates.

• Broad Compatibility: Effectively releases polyurethane liquid rubber from cured rubber, silicone rubber from itself, and prevents bonding with epoxy, urethane resins, and thermoplastics.

• High Fidelity: The ultra-thin formulation dries rapidly with a smooth satin finish without blurring intricate surface details or compromising reproduction quality.

Instructions

1. Preparation: Seal your model properly if your mold rubber guidelines require it. Shake the bottle thoroughly before application.

2. Spraying: Hold the spritzer pump approximately 6 inches (15 cm) away from the surface. Apply a light, even mist coating to all contact zones. Crucially, do not over-apply.

3. Brushing & Drying: Immediately use a soft-bristled brush to distribute the liquid into tight crevices and even out the layer. Allow the surface to dry completely for 10 minutes before pouring casting compounds.

Safety & Handling

Because it is a solvent-based system, safety precautions are mandatory. Use only in well-ventilated areas, wear protective safety glasses, and keep away from open flames or ignition sources. This liquid variant is also available in a convenient aerosol format, sold as Ease Release™ 200.
