Originally developed for the medical prosthesis industry, FuseFX Liquid Sheen is a fast-curing, 2-part platinum silicone kit (Part A & B) designed to lightly mat down glossy silicone surfaces without the need for powders. It leaves a gorgeous, natural eggshell sheen on your final piece.
Beyond finishing, it acts as a micro-thin protective barrier to seal in alcohol-activated makeup applied over silicone prosthetics.
Kit Includes: 30g (1 oz) Liquid Sheen LSK-30 Kit and a box of lint-free tissues for seamless application.

How to Apply FuseFX Liquid Sheen for an Eggshell Finish
Step 1: Surface Preparation
Ensure your cured platinum silicone prosthetic or painted piece is completely clean, dry, and free of dust or oils. If you have applied alcohol-activated makeup, ensure it has completely evaporated and dried before proceeding.
Step 2: Mixing (1:1 Ratio)
Dispense equal parts of Part A and Part B (a strict 50:50 ratio by eye or weight). Mix the two parts together thoroughly. Because Liquid Sheen is a fast-curing system, proceed immediately to application once blended.
Step 3: Micro-Thin Application
Take a piece of the included lint-free tissue and fold it into a small pad. Lightly saturate the tissue with the mixed Liquid Sheen. Gently wipe, stipple, or dab a micro-thin layer over the glossy silicone surface. Do not allow the product to pool or accumulate in deep textures.
Step 4: Curing
Allow the coating to fully cure undisturbed at room temperature. Once dry, the surface will be sealed with a durable, realistic eggshell sheen that eliminates unwanted plastic reflections.
Important Usage Notes:
Safety: Always wear vinyl or nitrile gloves while handling uncured components. Do not use latex gloves, as they will cause cure inhibition.
Prosthetic Compatibility: Formulated strictly for platinum-cure silicone prosthetics. To use on tin-cure silicones, a primer layer like BondFX must be applied first.
