Chavant Le Beau Touché™

Description

This premium sulfur-free, oil-based modeling clay is designed for professional sculptors, mold makers, and special effects artists. It offers a smooth, non-sticky consistency that allows for precise detailing, clean carving, and excellent surface finishes.

The HTR formula (formerly Le Beau Touché – HM) is less sensitive to temperature variations and is recommended for use in environments expected to reach 90°F. The HTR formula is slightly firmer and less tacky than Le Beau Touché - Original.

Le Beau Touché products are used by many types of artists who often look for a product that will adhere to virtually any armature material. Both Le Beau Touché formulas hold very good detail, carve and shape easily, have tremendous flexibility, and will not dry or crack.

Both formulas are available in Brown, Gray-Green, and Cream.

Instructions

• Use at room temperature and knead to the desired softness. 
• Warm gently if needed. 
• Apply to armature and sculpt using hands or tools. 
• Refine details with sculpting tools or light solvent smoothing. 
• Ensure the surface is clean before mold making. 
• Store in a cool, dust-free area. 
• Clay is reusable and can be reheated.
