Description

This is a universal release wax that provides excellent release from a wide range of rigid composite molds, including plaster, Jesmonite, GRP, metal, wood, and glass. It can also be applied to production equipment such as scales and molding tables to make cleaning easier.

Note that some porous surfaces, such as plastic and wood, may need to be sealed before applying the release wax, and compatibility should be checked by performing preliminary tests.

Instructions

  • Ensure the mold or surface is clean, dry, and free of dust. 
  • Using a soft cloth, apply a thin, even layer of the release wax to the entire surface. 
  • Allow the wax to haze, then gently buff with a clean cloth to create a smooth finish. 
  • For best results, apply 2–3 light coats, allowing each coat to haze and be buffed before applying the next. 
  • Test compatibility with porous materials and seal surfaces, if necessary, before use.
