Description

This utility and modeling clay is designed for special effects and industrial design, offering superior structural integrity for manual hand-sculpting. It is non-meltable, ensuring no risk of liquefaction.

The Extra Soft version (9A) is tacky for better adhesion, while the Hard version (32A) allows for crisp, tooled edges. Its off-white color and non-toxic, odor-free formula make it suitable for classroom environments and long-term studio projects. It offers a smooth, buttery feel that holds detail well without requiring a melt-pour workflow.

Grades

• Extra Soft: 9A Durometer, Tacky finish
• Soft: 14A Durometer, Low Tack
• Medium: 26A Durometer, Low Tack
• Hard: 32A Durometer, Low Tack

Medium and Hard grades require warming to 46°C to reach a workable state, regaining firmness upon cooling.

Instructions

• Extra Soft and Soft grades are optimized for use at room temperature (23°C). 
• Medium and Hard grades should be warmed to 46°C to achieve a workable consistency; they will return to their original firmness upon cooling.

Smoothing

• Use rakes for initial leveling.
• For a glass-like finish, apply 99% Isopropyl Alcohol or Naphtha.
• Citrus solvents work but may inhibit silicone curing.

Safety

• Do not overheat the clay to avoid burns.
• Store in airtight wrap away from UV to prevent oxidation.
• Clean tools with alcohol or Naphtha, as the clay can stain fabrics.
