Instructions
Safety
- Work in a well-ventilated area.
- Wear safety glasses, long sleeves, and rubber gloves.
- Work in low humidity environments to aid solvent evaporation.
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust.
- Shake the container thoroughly before each use.
Store and use the material at room temperature (23°C/73°F).
Application
- Use a dry brush to apply a thin, even layer over the entire surface of the model and any areas that will contact the mold rubber.
- Brush into deep details and undercuts on the model.
- Avoid pooling; use compressed air to remove excess.
- Allow to dry for 15 minutes, then apply a second coat and let dry for 30 minutes.
- Mix and apply the urethane rubber as per the instructions in the rubber product technical bulletin.
- For extremely porous surfaces like pressed brick, apply three coats before applying the mold rubber.
- Conduct a small test application to ensure suitability for your project if there are any performance concerns.
