There are many ways to pigment and/or paint silicones - FormX has a wide range of color dispersions of different brands and for various uses that can yield a variety of effects.
PAINTS
Silicone paints are applied on a silicone piece after this has been created. There are special silicone paints in a variety of colors. You can also create your own paint with a silicone paint base combined with the silicone pigments of your choice.
Psycho Paint - Is a translucent, two-component silicone paint base that can be mixed with any silicone pigment to create a silicone paint that will stick to platinum based silicone castings. It can be thinned with solvents for airbrushing.
FuseFX - Has a wide variety of two-component silicone paints in primary-, secondary-, skin tone- and effects colors. The F system consists of FX- and artistic colors with high pigmentation. The M-series (medical) system is created to make realistic skin tones and is more translucent for realistic layering. These paints can be thinned with solvents for air-brushing, they work ONLY on platinum-based silicones.
SilTone - Siltone is our own brand of silicone pigment; it's available in primary, skin- and effects colors and can be used for internal pigmentation of silicone rubbers.
FuseFX - These colors are specifically aimed at making skin tones - the FuseFX S-series cover a wide range of most comon etnic skin tones to more alien skin tones and even a line of special effects pigments to create such exotic colors such as "fatty tissue" and "Bowels".
SilcPig - A line of silicone pigments by renowned silicon supplier Smooth-On inc. in both primary and secondary colors.
Ignite – Also from Smooth-On inc. these very bright fluor colors that can be mixed in both silicones and polyurethane rubbers and - plastics.
